How to setup eduroam on Ubuntu / Linux

In particular eduroam privides for Windows and MacOS quite pretty fool-proof installer, but for Linux there is only a script called eduroam-linux-Fachhochschule_Landshut.sh that installs the certificates and asks for my university credentials.

But when trying to use the eduroam WiFi a weird WiFi-settings windows pops up and asks for network details.

So here are the settings that worked for me on Ubuntu 18.04 for university HAW Landshut:
